WHY RUN?

  • We love Clarkston, and we really love it when  a) our neighbors come together for any reason at all and  b) when we get a chance to “show off” Clarkston to the rest of Atlanta.
  • Building community momentum is the main reason for our annual Refuge Coffee Run. We also use it as an important tool to fund the growth of our job training program . If you run or volunteer, you’re giving us the boost we need to take our work of job training and community building to the next level–more trainees, more coffee, more connections, greater impact.
  • We also think you might enjoy automated timing/results, a USATF certified course, great race day activities, and food from around the world

CLARKSTON CULTURE FEST

Be sure to join us after the race for the Clarkston Culture Fest!! The festivities will begin at 10am, just a few steps away from Refuge Coffee, and will include live music, a kids’ activity zone, and a “cultural village” market with vendor booths highlighting the many cultures that make our city unique!

“The Clarkston Culture Fest aims to highlight the best of what Clarkston has to offer, and to share it with others. The theme is: “Educate, Appreciate, Celebrate.”  Join the fun as one gains education regarding the cultural diversity within Clarkston.  Gain appreciation of the various foods, music, languages, vendors and activities.  The day will be a grand Celebration of the unity within this small impactful community! “

THE COURSE

For the first time ever, we will be starting and ending the race at the Refuge Coffee Co. garage in Clarkston! See below for a full race route!
